A cool 120 minutes a week.
Researchers at University of Exeter analysed over 19,000 adults in England to discover that those who spent 120 minutes in nature (the park, fields, and woodlands) had a significantly greater likelihood of reporting good health or high well-being compared to the week before. Well-being being defined as the level of a person’s satisfaction with their life. BUT, if you can’t find those 120 precious minutes (and we strongly suggest you do), even 90 minutes a week in a natural setting will help you focus less on negative emotions. And just 5 minutes of working out in a green space will lift your self-esteem and mood according to Harvard Health. Let’s get out and workout together this week.
